This is advised for a person having Body Mass Index more than 40 and who is suffering from diseases such as diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis etc. After adjustable gastric band surgery the patent have to follow some restrictions on diet and exercise guidelines. Gastric band post surgery involves adjustments of band two to three times in the early months after the surgery. Adjusting band takes very little time and can be done in the clinic without the need of giving anesthesia. After adjustable gastric band surgery when you are leaving hospital then your dietician will provide you with regular diet chart which the patient have to follow. Gastric band post surgery involves taking of light liquid diet after three to four days of surgery.
